Information, Technology & Consulting (ITC) provides assistance with any technology-related question, issue or problem.

Quick Access

Available to

  • Undergraduate and graduate students in Dartmouth’s Arts and Sciences division
  • Faculty and staff in Dartmouth’s Arts and Sciences division
  • Staff in Dartmouth’s administrative departments

Professional school students, faculty and staff should seek technology help at their school’s IT support department; Alumni should seek technology help at the Alumni Help Desk.

Benefits and Features

Information, Technology & Consulting provides assistance with:

  • Selecting new computer equipment or software
  • Set up of new computers, including transfer of data, installation of applications, and configuring network connections
  • Set up of some peripherals, including printers, monitors, and scanners
  • Set up of mobile devices
  • Installation and troubleshooting of Macintosh and Windows operating systems, desktop applications, centrally administered applications and department-specific applications, such as Stata, SPSS, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Help with anti-virus and malware removal and prevention
  • Installation of new network ports, phones, and wireless access points;
  • Training on Macintosh and Windows operating systems and standard desktop applications
  • Troubleshooting of computer hardware, network and telephone issues
  • Help with disposal of old computer equipment
