Managing Your Voice Mail Messages

Checking Messages

  1. Log on to Unity Voice Mail by pressing the Messages button on your phone or calling 603-646-1000; then pressing * to log on.
  2. Either press 1 to hear new messages or press 3 to hear old messages. Then, press 1 to hear saved messages.

Replying to Messages

  1. After listening to the message, press 4.
  2. Record the message, and use these keys as you record:
  3. Press # to send the message, or press 1 for message options. Then use the stated keys to select options, and follow the Cisco Unity conversation to send your message.
  4. Follow the Cisco Unity conversation to handle the original message

Forwarding Messages

  1. After listening to the message, press 5.
  2. Follow the Cisco Unity conversation to address the forwarded message. To address the message to a private list, press ## to switch to number entry as necessary.
  3. Do one of the following three options: Press 2 to record an introduction, and use these keys as you record; Press 3 for message options, then use the following keys to select options, and follow the Cisco Unity conversation to send your message; Press # to forward the message as is.
  4. Use the following keys to manage the original message and to control playback.

Deleting Messages By Phone

  1. Log on to Unity Voice Mail by pressing the Messages button on your phone or calling 603-646-1000; then pressing * to log on.
  2. Press 1 to hear new messages, or press 3 to review old messages.
  3. During or after message playback, press 3 to delete the message.

Deleting Messages In the Deleted Items Folder

  1. Log on to Unity Voice Mail by pressing the Messages button on your phone or calling 603-646-1000; then pressing * to log on.
  2. Press 3 to review old messages.
  3. Press 2 to delete messages in the Deleted Items folder.
  4. Press 1 to confirm that you want to delete messages.
  5. When prompted, you can either: Press 1 to delete only the voice messages in the Deleted Items folder or Press 2 to delete all messages in the Deleted Items folder, including e-mail and voice messages.

Sending a Voice Message

  1. Log on to Unity Voice Mail by pressing the Messages button on your phone or calling 603-646-1000; then pressing * to log on.
  2. Press 2.
  3. Follow the Cisco Unity conversation to address your message.
  4. To address the message to a private list, press ## to switch to number entry as necessary.
  5. Press 1 to add another name or list. or Press # to record the message. Use these keys as you record.
  6. Press # to send the message, or Press 1 for message options. Then use the following keys to select options, and follow the Cisco Unity conversation to send your message.
    1. Key 8 = Pause or Resume
    2. Key # = End Recording
