Stata for Macintosh OS X

Step-by-Step

This application is KeyServed and requires KeyAccess be installed on your computer, as well as a connection to the Dartmouth network each time you run Stata.

Stata 12:

  1. Download and install KeyAccess for Mac if not already installed on your computer.
  2. Download Stata 12 for Mac OS X.
  3. After the installer image mounts on your desktop, click Install-Stata-Intel to install the software.

Stata 13.1:

  1. Download and install KeyAccess for Mac if not already installed on your computer.
  2. Download Stata 13.1 for Mac OS X.
  3. After the installer image mounts on your desktop, click Install-Stata-Intel to install the software.

Details

The installer image contains a file Dartmouth-Stata-readme.rtf. Please refer to this file for information regarding configuration of the software.

  • File Date: November 11, 2013
  • System Requirements: Mac OS X 10.6.8 or newer, Intel only. (Required if you are running OSX 10.9 or OSX 10.10).
