    Working within your Mailbox Quota


    At Dartmouth, each mailbox has a limit for the amount of data that can be stored within it. We refer to this as the Mailbox Quota. That quota varies by mailbox but for most will be 100 GB. If you exceed the quota, you will no longer be able to send e-mail from your account.

    Leaving Dartmouth - Export Email and Contacts to Gmail


    Follow the steps below to transfer email and contacts from your account to a gmail account.

    1. Set up forwarding of your Dartmouth email to your Gmail account.

    Important: Once you complete this step, no email will be delivered to your mailbox; it will only be forwarded to the email account you specify. You will not be able to recover messages sent to your account after your set forwarding from your mailbox. Therefore, ENSURE that the email address you enter is accurate.

    Migrate from MyFiles to OneDrive for Mac


    Switching from MyFiles to OneDrive for Business for storage of your files is a 5-part process. You should be connected to the wired network when you make this switch. It will take time, depending upon the amount of data you are syncing.

    Mac OS X 10.9 and higher is the minimum Mac OS that is required for running OneDrive for Business.

    Get Started with OneDrive for Macintosh


    OneDrive for Business provides unlimited password-protected, online storage for each user. This allows you to store documents, photos and other files online so they can be accessed from any Internet-connected computer. You can install an application on your computer so your OneDrive location acts like your computer's hard drive, or you can access/upload your OneDrive files via a web browser.

    Access Your Voice Mail

    From an On Campus Phone: Press the messages key, then enter your password as prompted.

    Note: On occasion, the message light is shows red on your phone and doesn't go out once you clear the messages. To turn off the message light when there are no messages, dial 72099 from your phone.

    From an on Campus Phone Other Than Yours: Dial 6-1000. You will be prompted for your ID (your 5 digit extension), then your password.
