    Create shortcut to launch a FileMaker Server database


    Follow the steps below to create a shortcut for opening FileMaker Server databases without opening FileMaker first and selecting the database from a list.

    Final Draft for Windows


    1. Connect to the Internet via Ethernet on Dartmouth Campus, Eduroam wireless, Dartmouth Secure Wireless, or VPN.
    2. Click to download Final Draft 9 for Windows.
    3. You will be prompted to Save, Run, or Open the File. Click Save or Save File and OK.
    4. Navigate to your web browser's downloads and right-click

    Incoming Students Computer Recommendations


    Dartmouth offers a number of laptop computer packages to incoming students — both Windows and Macintosh. Updated information will be posted there as it becomes available over the summer.

    Download and Install Sibelius 7 for Windows


    1. Download Sibelius 7.5 for Windows.
    2. If prompted, click Save File so that the circle next to the words are filled in. Click OK.
    3. Navigate to where your web browser downloads files and double click
    4. Double click Sibelius7.
    5. Double click Sibelius7Installer.exe.

    Installing EQS


    Dartmouth no longer provides an enterprise license for EQS from Multivariate Software. Individual EQS licenses must be purchased and renewed for those requiring the software.

    Dartmouth Computer Store Warranties


    Apple computers can be purchased with a 3-year warranty; Dell computers can be purchased with a 4-year Complete Care warranty. These warranties allow new students to spend nearly their entire college career without worrying about getting the service they may need. The Computer Store (located on campus) is an authorized repair shop for Apple, HP, Dell and Lenovo.
