The Learning Fellows Program—organized by the Dartmouth Center for the Advancement of Learning (DCAL) and Educational Technologies—embeds advanced students in classes around campus. It’s a model that is rapidly changing the Dartmouth classroom experience, says the program’s director, Kes Schroer.

As an incoming student, in mid May you'll receive your Dartmouth NetID and password. At that time, go online to The Computer Store to view the packages we're offering and to place an order. When you have made a decision about which computer best suits your needs, place your order online using Dartmouth's Computer Store website.
To place your order online go to the Class of 2022 link at http://computerstore.dartmouth.edu (this will come online in mid-May). Students can order computers through this website at any time once they have their Dartmouth credentials (sometime in mid-May). However, in order to help ensure that your computer is here for the start of the Fall term, orders should be placed prior to August 1, 2018.
Windows systems typically arrive with no password attached to the Administrator's account. We recommend changing this as soon as possible. To change the Administrator's password or to update a password for an account in the Administrators group for your computer:

Follow the steps below to create a shortcut for opening FileMaker Server databases without opening FileMaker first and selecting the database from a list.
Open Finder then double click Applications in the left menu bar.
Double click System Preferences from within the Applications folder.
Double click Network.
In the left hand navigation column, click the first connection that is marked Connected to select it. All active connections have a green dot next to them.
Click the Advanced button found in the lower right corner.
