Request a New SharePoint Site


SharePoint Online is part of the Office365 suite and is a powerful platform on which to build team websites for collaboration. A SharePoint Online site allows you to centrally manage and share files, assign tasks, build lists, share announcements, manage schedules and more.


To request a new SharePoint Online site send an email to [email protected]. Include the following information in your email request:

  1. Who will be the owner of the site? This is the person who will be responsible for adding and removing permissions for the site, adding data elements, etc.
  2. What will the site be used for?  What problems are you looking to solve? For example: are you looking for a site to store and share documents with members of the Dartmouth community? With people not at Dartmouth?
  3. What do you want this site named?
  4. Please include any other relevant information in your request that will help determine what features your new site should have.
