Using SFTP for Windows
Step-by-Step
In order to use SFTP on a Windows computer, you must first install SSH Secure Shell which includes the SFTP client.
Follow the directions found at Connect with SSH Secure Shell.
- Log in to the computer with an SSH terminal window, then click on the folder icon that opens up SFTP. An SFTP session should appear.
- Use the GUI to drag and drop files from Windows to the remote file system (and vice versa).
