    Download Skype for Business

    Windows users with Microsoft Office 2016 installed should already have Skype for Business 2016 installed.

    If you have a Windows computer and a different version of Microsoft Office installed (and can't upgrade) or have a Macintosh computer, download the version you need from the links below.

    Download the appropriate installer from the list below (Lync is the name of Skype in older versions of the product):

    Leaving Dartmouth - Blackboard and Canvas

    Within 60 days of your departure, you will lose access to Blackboard. This means any materials from your course sites that you want after you leave should be downloaded to a non-Dartmouth location prior to then.

    Canvas allows you to download a zip file of all your assignment submissions in all of your present and past courses, packaged into a single zip file. In Canvas, go to your profile settings, and then click Download Submissions to generate the zip file.

    FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. A file transfer protocol program provides a way for computers to "talk" to each other in order to transfer files. This is the recommended alternative to transferring either large or many files instead of sending them as an an e-mail message attachment or enclosure. As most e-mail systems have a limit on how large an enclosed file can be (one to three megabytes is a common value) FTP applications can provide a solution to that problem.
