    Dartmouth has a range of tools available for collaboration, file sharing and storage – each filling a unique need within the Dartmouth community. Some allow you to collaborate in real-time without storing the document in any different location; others allow you to store the document in a location where members of a group or team can access it when they need; others are for individual use only providing file storage that is available from any computer connected to the Internet, or file recovery needs.

    Boot Camp Assistant

    Warning

    To prevent the possibility of data loss, back up your disk before partitioning it or installing Windows. If you have a laptop computer, make sure the power adapter is connected.

    Details

    Boot Camp Assistant helps install Microsoft Windows on a Macintosh computer by downloading the necessary support software, creating a partition on your disk for the Windows operating system, and then running the Windows installer. When using Boot Camp, you must restart the Macintosh desktop and boot into Windows.

    Skype for Business for Mobile Devices

    Atlas.ti installer for Mac

    Details

    Due to licensing issues the Altas.ti installer for Mac cannot be made publically available. Any student who needs this installed on their Mac needs to bring their computer to the WIC to get it installed. IT staff may download ATLAS.ti.dmg here.

    Merging Multiple Apple IDs

    Details

    It is not possible to merge Apple IDs.

    If you have purchases that you have made on each Apple ID:

    1. Log in to each Apple ID from your device
    2. Download the items from the store to your device.
    3. On that device, log into the Apple ID that you want to use moving forward.

    Dartmouth has a site license for Matlab.
