    Step-by-Step

    Dartmouth introduced a new safety app called Dartmouth LiveSafe. It provides a quick and convenient way for you to watch out for your friends, or to quickly report a safety concern to Safety and Security. The app provides access to campus resource information, easy Emergency 911 and Dartmouth Safety and Security communications, anonymous tip reporting and more.

    Details

    First you will need to log in:

    1. Go to http://dartmouth.box.com.
    2. You will be prompted with Part of Dartmouth College? dialog box. Click Continue.
    3. Login with your Dartmouth NetID and password.

    Once you have logged in to your Box account, you are ready to start uploading files.

    Box provides online training for getting started.

    Getting Access to OmniUpdate

    Details

    OmniUpdate (OU) is a web-based content management system, licensed by Dartmouth College, that is used to maintain some administrative departmental web sites.

    Department's requesting new website are now being added to the Drupal interface rather than to OmniUpdate (OU).

    Stata Commands

    General Commands

    • clear - clears data out of memory.
    • search - searches Stata help for matching strings. This allows you to find help on command statements and return codes which appear alongside of error messages. If you make a mistake with a Stata command, it may return an error message along with a return code {for example, r(199)}. The search command can be used to get a more detailed description of the return code.
    • generate - computes a new variable based on an expression.

    Download and Install Sibelius 7 for Windows

    Step-by-Step

    1. Download Sibelius 7.5 for Windows.
    2. If prompted, click Save File so that the circle next to the words are filled in. Click OK.
    3. Navigate to where your web browser downloads files and double click Sibelius7.zip.
    4. Double click Sibelius7.
    5. Double click Sibelius7Installer.exe.
