The recommended option for accessing email and calendar is using a Microsoft Exchange-compliant client as these clients give you access to the most functionality. We support:

  • Microsoft Outlook for Windows 2013 and 2016
  • Microsoft Outlook for Macintosh 2016
  • Apple's Mail program, version 10.3 or newer (part of OS X 10.12 or newer)

Other options include, any IMAP or POP compliant email application (e.g., Thunderbird), or via an Internet web browser using

If there is some reason you cannot use Outlook or Apple Mail, we recommend using the IMAP protocol (mail is synchronized to local computer, but stays on server until you delete it), as opposed to POP protocol which moved your email off the server and downloads to your local computer. IMAP allows you to access your email from multiple computers; POP only has your email on one computer so if you have a problem with that computer, all of you email would be gone.

If you are using Thunderbird, after following the IMAP configuration steps, go to the File menu, click Subscribe, then select all mail folders (except Calendar and Contacts) and click the Subscribe button for mail folders in account to be visible and accessible.
