What Is the Difference Between Outlook and Exchange?

Details

Exchange is the software that provides the back end to an integrated system for email, calendaring, messaging, and tasks. Using a web browser and navigating to https://bwa.dartmouth.edu allows you to access your Exchange account directly.

Outlook is an application installed on your computer (Windows or Macintosh) that can be used to communicate (and sync) with the Exchange system.
