Top Stories in Drupal

Details

Many of our academic departments' sites have a Top Stories carousel for their "promoted" content. An article is promoted by default when it is created, and stories appear in chronological order. This is an easy way to display your newest content for your site's visitors and keep your homepage looking fresh.

You can promote other content such as Basic Pages or Person Profiles, or make them sticky. Sticky content will always appear before other promoted content in the carousel, and will remain there until you remove it. Use sticky content judiciously: If they take up all of the front slots in your carousel, visitors won't see new content.

For more information on promoted and sticky content, please refer to Publishing Options.
