Email Accounts

For most people, as soon as you become affiliated with the College, a Dartmouth account is automatically created for you based on information in either Banner student or Human Resource Management System.

Email addresses are the full name with periods between each name followed by @Dartmouth.edu.

  • For example, [email protected] or [email protected].
  • Students and Alumni will have their graduation year or school code appended to the name, for example John.A.Doe.14@Dartmouth.edu or John.A.Doe.MED@Dartmouth.edu
  • When there is more than one person with the same first name, middle initial, and last name, an additional number will be added as part of their email address (e.g., John.A.Doe-2@Dartmouth.edu).
